Live to Love Life
I laugh in both slight dissappointment and relief as I slowly pull the new found key out of the iron gate that surrounds the very life of me. I look at the iron gate and notice its far from extravagant rather its GRANDEUR lies  in its strength and loyalty for what it protects and for that I thank The Lord I look at the newfound key in all its splendor shine its shine then close my hand over it and...

Dec. 16, 2008 7:24 PM EST EASTON, Pa. (AP) — The father of 3-year-old Adolf Hitler Campbell, denied a birthday cake with the child’s full name on it by one New Jersey supermarket, is asking for a little tolerance. Heath Campbell and his wife, Deborah, are upset not only with the decision made by the Greenwich ShopRite, but with an outpouring of angry Internet postings in response...

Fla. close books on '81 Walsh Killing (AP) →
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) — A serial killer who died more than a decade ago is the person who decapitated the 6-year-old son of “America’s Most Wanted” host John Walsh in 1981, police in Florida said Tuesday. The announcement brought to a close a case that has vexed the Walsh family for more than two decades, launched the television show about the nation’s most notorious...

hehehe...
This has to be one of the funniest things in a long time. I think this guy should have been promoted, not fired.
This is a true story from the WordPerfect Helpline, which was transcribed from a recording monitoring the
customer care department. Needless to say the Help Desk employee was fired; however, he/she is currently
suing the WordPerfect organization for 'Termination without Cause.'
Actual dialogue of a former WordPerfect Customer Support employee.
(Now I know why they record these conversations!):
Operator: 'Ridge Hall, computer assistance; may I help you?'
Caller: 'Yes, well, I'm having trouble with WordPerfect.'
Operator: 'What sort of trouble??'
Caller: 'Well, I was just typing along, and all of a sudden the words
went away.'
Operator: 'Went away?'
Caller: 'They disappeared'
Operator: 'Hmm. So what does your screen look like now?'
Caller: 'Nothing.'
Operator: 'Nothing??'
Caller: 'It's blank; it won't accept anything when I type.'
Operator: 'Are you still in WordPerfect, or did you get out?'
Caller: 'How do I tell?'
Operator: 'Can you see the 'C: prompt' on the screen?'
Caller: 'What's a sea-prompt?'
Operator: 'Never mind, can you move your cursor around the screen?'
Caller: 'There isn't any cursor; I told you, it won't accept anything I
type.'
Operator: 'Does your monitor have a power indicator??'
Caller: 'What's a monitor?'
Operator: 'It's the thing with the screen on it that looks like a TV.
Does it have a little light that tells you when it's on?'
Caller: 'I don't know.'
Operator: 'Well, then look on the back of the monitor and find where
the power cord goes into it. Can you see that??'
Caller: 'Yes, I think so.'
Operator: 'Great. Follow the cord to the plug, and tell me if it's
plugged into the wall.
Caller: 'Yes, it is.'
Operator: 'When you were behind the monitor, did you notice that
there were two cables plugged into the back of it, not just
one? '
Caller: 'No.'
Operator: 'Well, there are. I need you to look back there again and
find the other cable.'
Caller: 'Okay, here it is.'
Operator: 'Follow it for me, and tell me if it's plugged securely into
the back of your computer.'
Caller: 'I can't reach.'
Operator: 'OK. Well, can you see if it is?'
Caller: 'No.'
Operator: 'Even if you maybe put your knee on something and lean
way over?'
Caller: 'Well, it's not because I don't have the right angle -- it's
because it's dark.'
Operator: 'Dark?'
Caller: 'Yes - the office light is off, and the only light I have is
coming in from the window.'
Operator: 'Well, turn on the office light then.'
Caller: 'I can't.'
Operator: 'No? Why not?'
Caller: 'Because there's a power failure.'
Operator: 'A power .... A power failure? Aha. Okay, we've got it
licked now. Do you still have the boxes and manuals and
packing stuff that your computer came in?'
Caller: 'Well, yes, I keep them in the closet.'
Operator: 'Good. Go get them, and unplug your system and pack it
up just like it was when you got it. Then take it back to
the store you bought it from.'
Caller: 'Really? Is it that bad?'
Operator: 'Yes, I'm afraid it is.'
Caller: 'Well, all right then, I suppose. What do I tell them?'
Operator: 'Tell them you're too stupid to own a computer!

Notes from a guy.
cte: lickystickypicky: We always hear “the rules” from the female side. Now here are the rules from the male side. These are our rules! Please note … these are all numbered ‘1’ ON PURPOSE! 1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one: Subtle hints do not work! Strong hints do not work! Obvious hints do not work! Just say it! 1. What keeps you blogging with Tumblr?
cte: potterspoet: sparo: For me, it’s the feeling of knowing that someone is reading my blog. It brings an overwhelming joy to know someone, somewhere in the world is reading what I have to say. I’ve never really had that feeling before. I know, that sounds all ‘middle school emo kid’ of me, but it’s true. I’ve tried Blogger and Wordpress, and have quit both of them; both for the fact that...

Books I have read.
I finished this in a Barnes & Nobles and it is an amazing book.  It’s not a story it’s more of a…I can’t really describe it so if you can let me know…it doesn’t have to be read in order, it’s more of a helping one understand life type of book, but very poetical.  A must read most definitely.

Books I have read.
I started reading this book after hearing my girlfriend laughing across the table with this book in her hands.  I asked her to read me what she read.  She did.  I laughed and went on with my book, but laughter would follow every few minutes.  And I couldn’t ignore that, so I was all like, “what? what’s funny, read me another piece.”  She did, I laughed again, then I picked...

Books I have read.
Okay, I like this book way way way more than the problems I had with it, if you can understand that.  If you can relate to the experience of the life of Dominican and/or Dominican American this book is a great read!  But me being str8 U.S. and lacking the ability to speak spanish or understand some of it’s slang made it a slightly difficult read.  Thank God I had a Dominican friend from the...

Books I have read.
Just finished this book. The writing style was on the poetic side I would say- for the most part it had a cadence to it.  I’m not an avid reader (just started reading books seriously within the last year) so the lack of quotations threw me off on the dialogue making the story a little choppy forcing me to go back and see if someone was talking or who said what. But! The story overall was...

ramses: So many new events happening in the last week. I went to LA on wed of last week and things started happening asap. That day I had my first ever premier at the Chinese Mann Theater for my new film Nothing Like The Holidays.  It was a Humbling experience to say the least.  Standing there looking at the 75 foot Red Carpet which had about 100 photographers was exciting.  Its like a...
